Texas SB 773 Notice

TexMed operates under Texas Senate Bill 773 (2023), which authorizes Texas pharmacists to dispense certain prescription medications, including ivermectin, under a physician standing order. All dispensing is performed by a Texas State Board of Pharmacy-licensed pharmacist. Ivermectin is not sold over-the-counter here.

Who Can Use TexMed?

Eligible Patients

Texas residents aged 18 or older who are not pregnant, not breastfeeding, and have no known contraindications to ivermectin. Suitability is determined by the pharmacist.

Who Should Not Use TexMed

Patients who are pregnant, breastfeeding, have severe liver disease, are taking warfarin or certain other medications, or weigh less than 33 lbs. The pharmacist may also decline for other clinical reasons.
