Yes. TexMed is a licensed Texas pharmacy registered with the Texas State Board of Pharmacy. All dispensing is performed by or under the direct supervision of a Texas-licensed pharmacist.
Yes. Texas Senate Bill 773 (effective September 2023) authorizes Texas pharmacists to dispense certain prescription medications, including ivermectin, under a physician standing order without requiring a patient-specific prescription for each dispensing event. TexMed operates entirely within this framework.
No. TexMed is cash-pay only. We do not bill insurance. HSA and FSA cards are accepted.
No. The TexMed process is 100% asynchronous. You complete a secure online health questionnaire. A Texas-licensed pharmacist reviews it and makes the dispensing decision. No appointment, no video call, no waiting room.
Most reviews are completed within one business day (Monday–Friday, 9am–6pm CT). You receive a notification in your secure portal when the review is complete.
If the pharmacist determines treatment is not clinically appropriate for you, the dispensing fee is refunded in full. You are only charged for what is dispensed and shipped.
Yes. Your consultation includes access to the secure patient portal where you can send follow-up questions to the pharmacist.
We dispense compounded ivermectin capsules in 9mg, 12mg, 18mg, 30mg, and 45mg strengths; commercially manufactured 3mg tablets; a combination bundle with mebendazole 100mg; and topical ivermectin 1% cream (30g tube). All human-grade USP ivermectin — no veterinary formulations.
The pharmacist consultation is free — there is no consultation fee. Compounded capsules start at $3 each (strength-dependent). The 30-day cancer treatment bundle is $700 and the complete 90-day cancer treatment bundle is $1,800. No subscription fees, no recurring charges, and no hidden costs.
Yes. HSA and FSA debit cards are accepted at checkout. Prescription medications are typically an eligible HSA/FSA expense — confirm with your plan administrator.
TexMed ships only within the state of Texas to Texas residents. We do not ship outside Texas or internationally.
All shipments are packed in discreet, unmarked outer packaging. The pharmacy name appears on the pharmacy label inside, as required by Texas law.
Approved orders are shipped within 1–2 business days via USPS with tracking. Most Texas deliveries arrive within 2–4 business days after shipment.
Yes. All questionnaire responses and portal messages are encrypted at rest and in transit. We follow HIPAA-aligned practices and do not sell your health or personal data to third parties.
No. Ivermectin is contraindicated during pregnancy. TexMed will not dispense ivermectin to pregnant patients. If you are pregnant and believe you have a parasitic infection, contact your OB/GYN immediately.
Disclose all current medications in your questionnaire. Ivermectin may interact with warfarin, certain seizure medications, and other drugs. Your pharmacist screens for interactions as part of the review process.
